Fall Inspiration by hellosimpleme-1 featuring short shirts

So if any of you watch the British series "My Mad Fat Diary" (holler if you want a season 3!) you are probably just as obsessed with Rae and Finn as I am. So today's inspired outfit is for Rae, the year the series takes places in is (summer) 1996. Rae has sort of a grunge style and she usually has on a band tee, a flannel tied around her waist and some jeans. This outfit is a little bit different with black skinnies instead of bluejeans and the shirt isn't a band shirt, but you can get the general idea. She also doesn't wear a headband but I love the additional touch. The backpack Rae always wears is blue not brown, but its my twist on her outfit, so whatever kind of backpack you want to wear is fine. And the boots! Rae would probably wear this with her converse, but I would wear this with combat boots.

Simple Pleasures by hellosimpleme-1 featuring thigh high stockings

Yesterday I saw a girl on campus in a outfit that looked like this. And tell ya what- I was totally in love with her look. I see this type of look that I love all the time. The effortless, European-inspired looks that I can only wish about pulling off. She was tall, thin and had long red hair.

I really wish I could pull looks off like that. Maybe somedayy.

So I added some gold knuckle rings to this look- I figured that minimalistic jewelry was totally needed for this gorgeous winter outfit. Dark nails and a pretty lip pull it together.

Why Taylor Swift is in the collage I'm not sure- it was last minute but her skirt goes with this sort of tan color theme so it works :)

So I'm off to some more studying before I head over to Target. I have about 1/2 hour to work on this study guide more before I go outside *BRRR* to catch the bus. There is something about riding the bus that I love. Maybe its the people watching, because I seriously LOVE people watching. I like making up stories about their lives-

Back To School: College Inspired by hellosimpleme featuring slim jeans

Hey everyone! Since I'm off to College in *looks at phone* 26 DAAAYYYYSSSSSS! So I decided to do a College Inspired First day of Class look + some essentials haha. So in real life I have the Backpack from Vera Bradley In Folkloric, and I do also have the planner from Vera Bradley in Plum Crazy. The ink joy pens I will also be taking to class everyday (those pens are my favorite), & the hamper I have a white one like that which I bought for my dorm!

The outfit I will most likely wear black flats from my haul a few days ago, black or dark indigo jeans and I love (love love) this top, and I'm going to find something like that to wear pairing it with a long necklace and a ring. Should I do a First Day of Class OOTD after I have my first full day of college classes?

For Makeup I am going to go with a very natural look with winged liner, curled hair and maybe a bow :)

Starbucks is a obvious choice ;) I am addicted to Caramel Frapp's!

Summer Essentials: Beach Version by hellosimpleme featuring nautical earrings

My summer Beach essentials would be:
1. Flowly, loose shirts
2. Something Ombre
3. Short loose dresses
4. Cute Sandals and a pair of loafers
5. Simple jewelry (very minimalist)
6. slouchy backpack
7. BB Cream (sun protection and slight coverage=good for a sunny day)
8. Bright/neon nail polish (neons make you look tanner, white does as well)
9. Upside down french braid bun (i've been doing this constantly and its super cute!)
10. Nude lip
11. Classic cat eye
