I had a good ole time trying to get this eyeliner to do its 'wing thing' today so I figured it was a post worthy thing to share and I also wasn't sure what to post about today so my makeup seemed like a good option.

In all seriousness- I would love it if those who read my blog left a comment on things they would like to see my blogging about. The blog may be mine but the whole reason I started it was to share with everyone else. I have some cool stuff planned for whenever I have access to my closet again (Monday I go back East) and there I will be able to have my full closet and not a carry-on (which is a interesting packing job for 9 days-that was an adventure in itself). ANYWAY- any thing you lovelies would like to see let me know and I will be sure to get on that;)

Ann Taylor&Bookstore HAUL

Ann Taylor LOFT was having a HUGE sale yesterday so we (Mom, sister and I) went in to pick a few things up. The top two sweaters (White and dark blue); I bought. And they were $6.88 each@ final price. I picked these up for school in the fall because we get very cold winters where I am going to University and I knowwwwwww that alot of people in Fashion say not to get the same shirt in different colors but I did it anyway. (plus @$6.88 that was a really good deal). The black one and the blue cardigan my mother bought (last minute grab out of my hand) and i bought the cardigan as a XL because I lovee oversized cardigans (although it wasnt to oversized). 

 Mum suggested that I pick up some new tank tops so I chose them in white, nude, and black, pretty basic. They were $14.50 each on sale 1/2 off so they were aprox $7.25 each. (My mum paid for them) I got them in XL even though i would normally fit in a L but at this point I have decided not to be defined by the little XL sticker. If its a XL, oh well. It fit nice and actually looked really good, skimming over everything perfectly. I am by no means perfect, and never will be but little by little I will be more comfortable with the way God made me. 

So speaking of being comfortable with myself I bought these pins at the bookstore we visited. The black and White ones I am keeping but the middle one I am giving to a friend of mine once I get back because it reminded me of her :)

BOOOOKKKKSS:) The Jane Austen books were bought at a used book sale($5 for both). And Eeanor & Park($18.99) I bought when I got the buttons at the bookstore along with a little zebra notebook which I forgot to take a picture of (whoops).

Pink Nail Flower Tutorial

The first step is putting on a base Coat. This is Sally Hansen hard as nails in Crystal  Clear.   Its a really nice base coat or can be used nicely by itself.

Second step is using choosing and putting on your base coat. For mine I chose Sinful Colors Professional in 24/7. (its so pretty)

Then taking L.A. Colors Art Deco in White... ( having this in white comes in handy not just for tutorials like this but for doing french tips as well. And all of the L.A Colors nail polishes were $1 and the sally Hanson was $2 and the Sinful colors was $1.99 so not very expensive whatsoever. )

I drew a star. Dragging the brush across once then two more strokes at different angles, therefore getting the star effect. Then taking the L.A Colors Art Deco in Intense Pink I Drew a star opposite the white one. As seen in the below picture.

So here is the darker pink star in between the white star. Now we make another star with a lighter pink from L.A colors called Baby Pink. As seen below.

and with that you draw a third star but on top of the white star. but be sure to leave room so you can see the white of the first star.

The second to final step will be taking another L.A Colors Art Deco in Ice Breaker and adding one diagonal line of silver glitter to your nails. On your left hand from the middle it would go outwards towards your right hand and on your right hand from the middle it would go towards your left hand. As seen below.

Thumb is at a angle I apologize, but I think you can guess what I mean :)

And here is the final design. The last step would be to put your base coat on top of the nails when finished to act as a top coat and keep the design!
