So its not just that Purple is my favorite color... its that fall is coming soon... and I LOVEEEE plum/ purples for fall. Can you tell I am excited about September/college starting/leaves-changing ...FALL? So I found this dress and kinda did a flip inside because its absolutely gorgeous! And so I put an outfit together of what I would wear with it using my ultimate Polyvore closet ;)

Moleskine Notebook

I am CONSTANTLY doodling, writing, journaling, drawing... the works. In various different notebooks  and I seriously have been eyeing up these Moleskine notebooks... for... monthssss. And today I ended up in Barnes &Noble and was looking over the whole store for them and found one I liked that was just a black one with a closing like strap but it wasn't plain paper (which was what I was looking for) and then I found a blue one that wasn't Moleskine but was alot cheaper (and lined not blank). So my friend that I was with, I asked her what I should decide on and she said Moleskine. So I ended up splurging on them and getting the set of three (which in the end ended up having more paper than the blue one anyway and I am all about the amount of paper). They were $18.98. Which yeaaahhh, is steep for blank journals but hey- I'm happy and paid for them with my own money so... yeah :)

Red Dress

So here I have a fun post! This is a Little Red Dress post! I love the classic LBD but I totally love this red dress! It says its a prom dress on Polyvore but I think its simple enough you could wear it to any event, casually or dressed up. I came up with four different accessory ideas with the red dress as the focus.

I personally love red, its one of my favorite colors and its such a confident color as well which is why I love it so much! I also love this dress because of the shape, its universally flattering with the scoop neck and sliming cut.

Back To School: College Inspired

Hey everyone! Since I'm off to College in *looks at phone* 26 DAAAYYYYSSSSSS! So I decided to do a College Inspired First day of Class look + some essentials haha. So in real life I have the Backpack from Vera Bradley In Folkloric, and I do also have the planner from Vera Bradley in Plum Crazy. The ink joy pens I will also be taking to class everyday (those pens are my favorite), & the hamper I have a white one like that which I bought for my dorm!

The outfit I will most likely wear black flats from my haul a few days ago, black or dark indigo  jeans and I love (love love) this top, and I'm going to find something like that to wear pairing it with a long necklace and a ring. Should I do a First Day of Class OOTD after I have my first full day of college classes?

For Makeup I am going to go with a very natural look with winged liner, curled hair and maybe a bow :)

Starbucks is a obvious choice ;) I am addicted to Caramel Frapp's!

Mirror mirror on the wall

Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all? YOU ARE<3
So today I have one item to show you and that is this absolutely STUNNING necklace from Princess Vera Wang (available at Kohls). I don't know what the name of the necklace is but I'm sure it would not be to hard to find since it is  such a memorable piece. The tag does not say a name for it but it does say VTRU0118 so I think you might be able to find it using that(? I'm not really sure- sorry :/ ).  This necklace was a total steal because it was only $3- yes really :D It was 90% off- so that was really nice! Kohls always has really awesome sales so before you head to JCPenny or Bon Ton make sure you check out the sale racks at Kohls because they are amazing. 

And if you were wondering what 'Belle du jour' means, I translated it and it means 'Beautiful of the day' which I thought is such a uplifting thing to see when you open the locket part of the necklace and see a little mirror reflecting back. Its seriously going to be my new favorite necklace <3

OOTD: Football Game+Night Out With the Girls

Hey everyone! A couple of my best girl friends and I are going to go to a big football game tonight and then just have some fun together before school starts soon! So I played it simple with my outfit, my jeans (were just in a haul from a few days ago) are from Rue 21, my Vintage tee is from old navy ( i have like 10 of these in various colors/cuts because they are so versatile) and my bracelet was a christmas present from my friend Brianna, my earrings I've had for a long time so I don't remember (sorry -.-) and my gladiator sandals I have had for a couple summers and I think they were from Kohls or Bon Ton I dont really remember so I apologize again. (And not pictured but I will probably be taking a sweatshirt with my HS logo and such on it for when it gets cold tonight)

And BEFORE anyone asks- yes I realize in this picture my cheek looks funny, and it is because I had my wisdom teeth out (both top and bottom this side, just top on the right) so thats why its still swollen, but I wanted to get a OOTD post up for you guys, swollen face or not. Just so you know.

&My makeup is pretty simple, pretty much my everyday summer look (when I do wear makeup) I tried getting a closer picture but my eyes looked weird so I didn't get much closer but the lipstick I have on is one of my favorites even though is a darker color I love it <3 its Sugared Maple in Clinique's Long Lasting Lipstick (its seriously one of my favorites!) 

&I'm outside in my backyard in all these pictures so If you like them outside like this, leave a comment and while I am still at home until school I will try to always take my OOTD pictures outside- Weather permitting of course ;) 

&my hair is kinda curled. I washed it this morning and then tried curling it (which doesn't work with my hair btw) but it still kinda curled and still looks pretty by me.

Christmas in July... well August

I've always kinda made fun of the term 'Christmas in July' until today (Even though its August now its still close enough to July to say that haha)- I've been off work because of having my wisdom teeth pulled and until about a hour ago I was watching Planet of the Apes and having a marathon, but I decided to clean my room/closet and in the process of going through a box that had a couple of envelopes inside it. I opened the first card and it was from a friend of mine who moved over christmas break 2012, then I opened the second card... Low and behold... was a Kohls gift card that I had COMPLETELY forgotten about for $25. How ironic. &therefore when looking at it with wonder I thought about Christmas in July... Well August. So there ya are, my interesting post for the day :)

&I've decided that I will use the gift card for some school clothes shopping once I'm at college- so be on the lookout for that Haul in a few weeks (I move into my dorm on August 31st I am SOOOOOOOO excited).

Funny how things work out isn't it?
I had been sad I wouldn't get to do much school clothes shopping and what do ya know :)
